Deciding on Your Tickets

When selecting your tickets you need to determine where you would like to view the event from. 

You could purchase a General Entry ticket and roam the grounds  to see exciting racing from a variety of positions.

Or, if you would prefer to be seated on a grandstand seat, then a Grandstand ticket would be your best option.  These tickets allow you to move amongst the two on-site grandstands in order to view the track from two different locations. Grandstand tickets can be purchased 'online' www.nzfmr.co.nz or at the Main Entry Gate at Hampton Downs. Please note that a Grandstand ticket is required for each child for entry to the Grandstands. 

Bringing a group of friends along and enjoy food and beverage at 'Hamptons' fine dining facility in the Pit Paddock while viewing racing from the veranda.

Planning on bringing the whole family along? Then we would recommend General Admission tickets.  Entry for children under 12 years of age is free when accompanied by an adult with a General Admission ticket. Please note that a Grandstand ticket is required for each child for entry to the Grandstands. 

As a responsible host the NZ Festival of Motor Racing encourages groups of people to nominate a designated driver for the day.
