Summer 2012: 'NZFMR Celebrating BMW Motorsport'
Dates: Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd January, and Friday 27th until Sunday 29th January 2012
The 'New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing (NZFMR) celebrating BMW Motorsport' will mark the significant contribution by BMW and BMW Motorsport to motor racing in New Zealand. See notable cars from the exclusive BMW Museum collection in Germany. See a fantastic range of Classic and Historic race cars and bikes in classes similar to those seen at the NZFMR Bruce McLaren Festival in 2010 and the NZFMR Chris Amon Festival in 2011. A Classic Before It Even Starts
Following the great success of the 'NZ Festival of Motor Racing (NZFMR) celebrating Bruce McLaren' held in January 2010 and the 'NZFMR celebrating Chris Amon' held in January 2011, the 'NZFMR celebrating BMW Motorsport' will be held over the last two weekends of January 2012. Be there 20-22 Jan 2012 and 27-29 Jan 2012 to see over 350 racing cars and racing motorcycles competing New Zealand's largest historic motor race meeting.
It is expected that classic and historic racing cars, sports cars, saloon cars and bikes from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK and USA will be competing at Hampton Downs MotorSport Park, NZ.
